The girlfriend of a man who went missing after getting stuck in a rip at a beach has penned a heartbreaking letter to him.
Kyle Schroduer, 21, was last seen by friends swimming at Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast at about 4pm on Saturday.
He is believed to have become stuck in a rip near the unpartolled Stumer’s Creek. Police were alerted shortly afterwards.

Search and rescue teams still haven’t found Mr Schroduer, but his girlfriend Samantha Meyers has vowed to keep looking for him.
‘For those who don’t know Kyle had been swept in a rip yesterday afternoon at Coolum beach and search and rescue teams are still on the hunt,’ she wrote on Sunday.
‘Please keep your loved ones close! We won’t stop till we find you, we love you endlessly.’
Surf Life Saving, Queensland Police and Coast Guard crews are continuing to search for Mr Schroduer.
‘The search recommenced in the early hours of (Sunday) with the Westpac Lifesaver Rescue Helicopter and drones conducting a search from the sky,’ a Surf Life Saving Queensland spokesperson said.
‘Surf lifesavers on Jet Skis and Inflatable Rescue Boats continue to be involved in the search along with vessels from other agencies.’
Anyone who may have any information which could assist in locating him is urged to contact police.
