Love Island Australia star Cassidy McGill has suffered an unfortunate Instagram fail after posting about her visit to the hairdresser.
On Sunday, the blonde influencer, 26, had uploaded a photo of herself showing off her freshly-coiffed blonde hair.
While Cassidy’s post seemed innocent enough, it was her caption that raised eyebrows.
Unfortunate: Love Island Australia star Cassidy McGill, 26, (pictured) suffered an X-rated Instagram fail after she referred to her new blow dried hairstyle as a ‘blowy’
‘There really is nothing quite like a fresh blowy,’ the former bartender wrote next to the image.
While it’s clear Cassidy used the term ‘blowy’ to refer to a ‘blow dry’, some fans may have mistaken her meaning for something far more risqué.
According to Urban Dictionary, ‘blowy’ is an Australian colloquial term often to describe the act of giving oral sex – usually to a man.

Cassidy rose to fame on season one of Love Island Australia, which was filmed in Spain and first aired Down Under in 2018.
During her time on the show, she was embroiled in a love triangle between Tayla Damir and Grant Crapp.
Grant eventually dumped Cassidy for Tayla, forcing heartbroken Cassidy to tearfully leave the Mallorcan villa and return to Australia.

In 2019, Cassidy infamously raised eyebrows when she publicly slammed the ‘stigma’ attached to working as a social media influencer, going so far as to describe the job as ‘hard work’.
‘You know what, I kind of want to come on here and defend this stigma around having [this] as a job,’ she wrote on Instagram at the time.
‘Everyone thinks that we get paid a s***load to do f*** all, and it’s really easy – it’s not easy, this job basically never stops and there’s a lot of pressure.’
