‘I understood and I wanted him to have that. But I also wanted him to come home.’
Robin was an unknown actor when they first met in San Francisco in 1976.
‘He was bartending. He had a French accent, offered me a drink, chatted me up and was absolutely delightful,’ she recalled.
‘He asked me for a ride home. He was speaking French, and I was teasing him, and we had a kiss.

‘And I just knew I was going to see him again.’
After starring as an alien in a single episode of Happy Days, the character was so popular he was given his spin-off — Mork And Mindy — and a superstar was born.
Williams and Valerie had a son, Zachary ‘Zak’ Pym, but after ten years of marriage, they split.
Williams then embarked on a relationship with Zak’s nanny, Marsha Garces, in 1986.
They married in 1989 when Marsha was pregnant with their daughter Zelda.
That marriage produced two children — Zelda and Cody — and was together until 2010.
Robin married third wife Susan Schneider the following year and was still married to her when he took his own life in 2014.
