Made In Chelsea star Ollie Locke and his husband Gareth have opened up about their struggle to conceive a child via a surrogate.
The pair appeared on Good Morning Britain on Monday for an emotional interview, sharing heartbreaking details about their surrogate’s recent miscarriage and their determination to become parents with the help of IVF.
Ollie, 35, said that the pair haven’t given up on their dreams to have a family and will be starting a new round of IVF next month.

‘We have had one failed attempt at IVF and one miscarriage and we are going again next month for our next round,’ Ollie candidly revealed.
Ollie said that he and Gareth, 31, are being open about their struggles with fans because they want to use their public platform to help raise awareness and to help others.
‘We believe the representation is so important and [we] have a platform to do this – we wanted to do this so publicly,’ Ollie said.
In January, the couple appeared on Lorraine and revealed they had lost five embryos in a year during their battle to become parents.
‘We have had one failed attempt at IVF and one miscarriage and we are going again next month for our next round,’ Ollie candidly revealed
‘It is our main and full focus. We are so ready for this,’ Ollie said about their plans to try IVF again.
‘We have lost five embryos in the last year. We have been to Cyprus, Mexico and the US and its been hard and very expensive. But we are still trying and we’ve has so much support.
Gareth added: ‘All the knock-backs just make you understand that you are ready for it.’
The reality TV stars have shared their journey on social media and Lorraine and the couple agreed that it’s important to use their platforms to tackle difficult topics.

Ollie said: ‘The Made In Chelsea audience has been a fabulous journey. It is nice to be a part of a community that now discusses miscarriages and IVF more openly.’
Ollie shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram last year that they had lost a baby, sharing a picture of a dressing gown with ‘Baby Locke’ embroidered on it.
Alongside the photograph of the dressing gown, Ollie explained that after finding out they were pregnant in November, their surrogate sadly miscarried at six weeks.
He wrote: ‘Trigger Warning. This is the last thing I want to be writing, but this is sadly a part of our journey.

‘In early November our life changed in the most extraordinary and wonderful way, those two perfect lines shone through a pregnancy test telling us we were pregnant and Gareth, myself, our surrogate and our families were all ecstatic.
‘After a difficult year, a little bean growing inside the best person you could ever imagine was the most wonderful early Christmas present we could ever have imagined.
‘Through the course of nature, at 6 weeks and 2 days it stopped growing and had gone.’
Ollie, who met his partner Gareth a decade ago before they started dating in 2018, also said they don’t want any other couple to go through the heartbreak and financial challenges that they have.

In May last year, Ollie told Daily Mail Australia about his excitement at becoming a father and starting a family with Gareth, saying: ‘There is nothing in my life that I am more excited or ready for’.
The author and reality star said that fatherhood is top of his agenda.
‘Being the best father I could possibly be, is by far my biggest priority,’ he said.
‘I will take everyone on this journey on camera, [I’m] writing two new books this year and building two new businesses to make sure I will always be able to continue to spoil them forever,’ he said at the time.
The couple secretly married at London’s Natural History Museum in front of 13 guests including bridesmaids Binky Felstead and Olivia Bentley in November 2020. The stunning wedding aired on E4’s MIC that December.
