Vicky Pattison slips into a pale blue bikini on Croatian break

Vicky Pattison has shared how it’s taken her a decade to accept her appearance, as she vowed to inspire her fans on Friday.

The former Geordie Shore star, 33, took to Instagram to share snaps of her figure in a pale blue bikini, taken from different angles to highlight how the camera could be deceiving.

Documenting her trouble with finding body confidence, Vicky called on her social media followers to be kind to themselves and enjoy life regardless of how they look.

Vicky wrote: ‘This picture probably just looks like another holiday post to you guys – here Vicky is again, with her boobs out, on holiday, eating and drinking and being a smug cow. But to me it’s much more significant than that.

‘It’s taken me years to come to accept my body – not punish it with endless exercise, not deprive it, not hide it away or hate it… and here I finally am at 33, in a bikini, eating a dessert and drinking a sugary cocktail without a care in the world! (My face didn’t get the memo btw.)

‘I used to be the type of girl who would eat practically nothing all day just because I didn’t want my tummy to bloat round the pool. Or I’d be the girl who saved all her calories for drinking at night time… utterly ridiculous but I’m telling the truth.

‘I think back to that girl, and even though she had some amazing holidays, some brilliant experiences and travelled to some beautiful countries… She was living a half life. A life in fear of her own f**king body shape, obsessed with my size and scared of my curves.

‘I wish I could go back and tell that lost little girl to have the mojito, to enjoy the fancy pastry, to just live her life… because it isn’t better when you’re skinny. At least it wasn’t for me anyway.

‘Ladies, life doesn’t begin when you lose that stone, it doesn’t start when you fit into that dress – it’s happening now and by hating our bodies we’re just wasting our precious moments where we could be having fun and making memories.

‘Don’t be the lass sweating your tits off in a kaftan because you’re worried about your love handles, be the girl cannon balling onto the pool and showing everyone that being beautiful is about confidence – not a clothes size.

‘So to anyone caught in a cycle of disordered eating or unkind thoughts I’m here to tell you that you’re absolutely perfect, exactly as you are and that I hope you know that!’

The former I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! champ is currently holidaying with her boyfriend Ercan Ramadan in Croatia.

The star shared a picture of of herself online as she posed by the pool and another as she sat at a table to enjoy some food.

She also shared a snap of herself in the hotel room as she posed side on to show her figure.

Vicky captioned the snaps: ‘Back with my favourite photographer… I mean fella.

‘@ercan_ram is already absolutely fuming to be back on picture taking duty but I’ve told him it’s part of the deal so now he’s off sulking somewhere.

‘First proper day in Dubrovnik and we’re being sun loungers surfers in our hotel as it is just so beautiful round here… We will be going for an explore later so all suggestions are super welcome!!

‘My bikini is from @naia_beach guys – I had the black one one my last holiday and I loved it so much I went and got it in white and red- they fit lovely and cover all my boobs which I really struggle with normally!

‘Just thought I’d share as I’m always struggling to find bikinis that I don’t over expose myself in.

‘Oh and I think my sunglasses are from @noughtsandkisses but last years.’
