Glam: Katherine Ryan shared a stunning selfie in a red leopard print dress to Instagram on Thursday after revealing her TV show The Duchess wouldn’t return for a second season
She sported a chic red leopard print dress which featured a v-neck design and spots of colour-blocking pink.
The TV star opted for a matching red manicure as she posed and delicately touched her ear.
Holding one side of her curled golden locks back was a statement-making gold hair clip which complemented her gold earrings and rings.
Smitten: The comedian, 37, also took to her Instagram Stories to share a snap of her husband Bobby Koostra, who posed outside a car holding a giant bouquet of flowers
Make over: Katherine posted the glam selfie as she enjoyed the easing of lockdown restrictions, writing that she had a ‘hair glow up’
She penned: ‘Slowwwwly coming out of [lock emoji] down like @fionaeustace @jennifer.michalski.bray.style ❤️ hair glow up @dannyrichohair’.
Katherine also took to her Instagram Stories to share a sweet snap of beau Bobby Koostra, who posed outside a car holding a giant bouquet of flowers.
Bobby cut a casual figure in a white long-sleeved T-shirt and relaxed grey trousers as he smiled for the camera.
He opted for comfort with a pair of crisp white trainers in the snap, with Katherine left captionless.
The pair began dating as teenagers and reunited after 20 years before tying the knot in 2019. Katherine has an 11-year-old daughter Violet from a previous relationship.
Earlier on Friday, Katherine revealed Netflix have decided not to renew her show The Duchess while speaking on Vicky Pattison’s The Secret To… podcast.
The sitcom, which tells the story of a single mother living in London who considers having another baby with her enemy and the father of her daughter Olive, was axed because ‘not enough people watched it’.
She said: ‘Netflix didn’t want to make any more, not enough people watched it.
‘I think something like 10 million people watched it in 28 days and that wasn’t enough. But also, I’m not terribly sad about it.
‘I feel like it’s a whole lot of work, a whole lot of time to make a sitcom. I was so grateful to able to make it, but I think it speaks for itself. I kind of like the way it ended.’

The mother-of-one had previously opened up about how much she is like the show’s lead character, revealing that Katherine the character is ‘more like her stage persona’.
She said: ‘Her name is Katherine Ryan out of pure laziness because I always meant to change her name and then I just thought, “Oh well”.
‘The character is maybe more like my stage persona than she is like me, because in my real life, what is mirrored is that I do have a very special unique central mother-daughter relationship and it has always been prioritised above any other relationship in my life.
‘I know Katherine has a unique world view and a real logical way of solving problems that ends up causing more problems for her, but she never disparages being a mom and that’s the same with me.
‘I celebrate my relationship with my daughter and I’ve had other challenges in my life but parenting was never one of them.’
