Kmart Australia-Shoppers are obsessing over a $40 puffer jacket from Kmart

In preparation for winter, Kmart is selling an affordable blue puffer jacket for only $40 – while similar styles from alternative brands cost four times the price.

Australian style blogger, who goes by the Instagram name ‘Kmart Insider’, highlighted the massive saving opportunity and emphasised how you don’t have to spend hundreds of dollars to look good.

She added how the ‘Drew Denim’ short puffer jacket from Decjuba retails for $169.95 and looks almost identical to the Kmart buy.

‘Kmart got blue covered! Beat the chill in this outfit inspired by Decjuba,’ she captioned the social media post.

The $40 puffer jacket is available in two colours – stone blue and pink bronze – and is made from polyester.

It features a high neck design, cropped length, soft padding, long sleeves with ribbed cuffs and two side pockets.

In comparison the expensive Decjuba alternative also has a high neck design, pockets, front zipper and is made from both cotton and polyester.

After sharing the points of difference on social media, others seemed eager to purchase the winter staple from Kmart.

‘This is such a beautiful shade!’ one person wrote, another said: ‘I got this jacket the other day and love the colour.’

But the true showstopper is perhaps a chic longline fur coat, which wouldn’t look out of place on a high-end fashion rack.

While the price has not yet been disclosed, it’s sure to be considerably cheaper than similar styles on the market.
