Myleene Klass exudes femininity in polkadot dress with daughter Hero

She is a doting mother to Ava, 13, Hero, ten, and son Apollo, 20 months.

And Myleene Klass exuded femininity in a floaty polkadot dress as she arrived for work at Global Radio Studios accompanied by her mini me, Hero.

The radio host, 43, looked every inch the stylish working mother as she entered the broadcast building ahead of her Smooth FM show.

Myleene wore the ankle-length dress which features a flattering pleated skirt and high neck detail.

She paired her frock with a stylish longline cream cardigan and opted for comfort with some crisp white trainers.

Always one to score high fashion points, she draped a small black Chanel purse across her midriff and accessorised with layered gold necklaces.

Her caramel tresses were styled in loose waves and she covered her pretty features with a pair of large sunglasses.

Proving to take after her fashionable mother, Hero sported a black dress and knee-high socks which she paired with some cool pink trainers.

She added a stylish gingham baker boy hat and pink leopard print backpack as the duo held hands while out.

It comes after Myleene – who got engaged to Simon Motson last year on their fifth anniversary – admitted being a step-mother in a large family is ‘not easy’ and wishes she had a step-parenting manual on how to go about it.

The presenter and fiancé Simon, 46, have baby son Apollo and two children each from previous relationships – making them a blended family of seven.

However, she said their approach to parenting step-children was to ‘treat them all the same’ and not to differentiate between ‘your children’ and ‘my children’.

In an interview with The Sun, she said: ‘I never dreamed I’d be living in a household of seven. And you know when you realise there’s no parenting manual? Wait until you haven’t got a step-parenting manual because that’s something else entirely.

‘I can’t lie, it’s not easy because there’s always something happening and I don’t feel there’s enough of me to go round.

‘But from the start we said we had to treat them all the same. It couldn’t be “your children” and “my children”, and that’s been something the kids all really wanted.’

Earlier this month, Myleene shared a rare insight into becoming a step-mum as she appeared on the Made By Mammas: The Podcast, hosted by Dr Zoe Hardman and Georgia Dayton.

Of being a step-mum, the former HearSay singer reflected: ‘It really takes you being the most mature you can possibly be, even when you don’t want to be.

‘I said to Sim when we were first all living in the house together, I said that I’m not going to tell your children off because I don’t feel like that’s my role.

‘And within ten minutes, that’d gone out of the window when one of them is hanging off the monkey bars and another is trying to put a ball through a window.’

‘In the end I just changed all that around and I sat them down around the table and said look, the only way we’re going to do this is, I see it as we’re all in a boat, this is how I view it.

‘And one of you rocks the boat, we’re all going to feel it. And if one of you goes overboard, I’m going to grab you and make sure you’re safe. That’s the only way we’re going to get through it is if we’re all in this together.

‘If anything gets a bit rocky or if anyone’s in trouble, we all just say “remember the boat”.’
