The trick, shared on the Gut Started health and wellness Instagram page, shows how you can use a muffin tin to make perfect eggs for breakfast.

All you need is some eggs, a drizzle of extra Virgin olive oil, a piece of tissue, your eggs, a butter knife and some salt and pepper to season them.

‘Cooking eggs for the fam? Prepping for a few days? Check out this cooking hack that will save you so much time and energy,’ the team from Gut Started posted.

To try the hack for yourself, they recommend you simply pre-heat your oven to 200 degrees Celsius and grease a muffin tin with extra Virgin olive oil.

‘Crack in your eggs to the muffin tin,’ the Gut Started team said.

Following this, you should put the eggs in the oven for between 10 and 12 minutes, depending on how firm or runny you want your egg yolk.

Once the eggs have set, remove the muffin tin from the oven, run a butter knife around the edges and remove them from the tray to serve.

The eggs work perfectly with both a cooked breakfast and on toast with avocado, butter or Vegemite.
